Position Description: The objective of this role is to ensure the safe transportation and delivery of food to customer locations, exceeding customer expectations. Responsibilities include ensuring shipment of temperature-controlled and undamaged products, accurate counts at delivery, and maintaining inventory levels using FIFO at customer sites.
Required
Skills and Abilities
:
- 1-3 years of related experience, including sanitation experience
- Ability to complete SQF paperwork for assigned duties
- Ability to work independently
- Adherence to safety protocols
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift 20-50 pounds regularly
- Respond quickly to sounds
- Move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces
- See and respond to dangerous situations
- Work temporarily in coolers and freezers
- Perform physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, walking, standing, kneeling, bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling for extended periods
- Effective communication skills
- Must be 18 years or older
Additional Requirements:
- One-year related experience
- Ability to follow detailed cleaning procedures and improve existing ones
- Work with cleaning chemicals daily
- Operate sanitation equipment (mop, broom, vacuum)
- Schedule:
3rd shift, Sunday to Friday - Ability to work in cold/freezer environments
Accountabilities:
- Maintain cleanliness of the entire facility
- Empty and clean garbage bins
- Clean kitchen, bathrooms, equipment, walls, and stairs
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies
- Collaborate with all departments to ensure a safe, clean working environment
- Meet or exceed HACCP and GMP requirements
