Registered Nurse – Homecare Visiting

Omama Home Healthcare is seeking a registered nurse to serve as a contracted visiting nurse within our growing home health care organization.

• Support and sustain OMAMA's commitment to compliance.
• Manage caseload to ensure quality and safe delivery of nursing services to patients in the home setting.
• Perform day shift home visits, with flexible scheduling based on case.
• Develop, implement and evaluate the plan of care and make necessary revisions to address all problems in the plan.
• Provide coordination of the plan of care, maintaining continuity of client care with other health professionals while identifying interdisciplinary care needs and making recommendations for additional home health care services.
• Supervise the client care rendered by Licensed Practical Nurses and Home Health Aides in the provision of delegated duties and conduct supervisory visits per regulatory guidelines.
• Provide quality and safe delivery of home health care services.
• Record and document patient care services.
• Promote education for clients, their families and the community that reflects VNCC’s philosophy and standards of home health for assigned clients.

$45–$50 per hour, based on experience.

• Current RN licensure in MA (RI is a plus).
• 1–2 years med/surg, or acute care experience preferred.
• 1–2 years home care experience preferred.
• CPR/AED certification.
• Valid driver’s license and available transportation.
• Strong assessment and communication skills.
• Ability to build rapport with patients.
