Job Summary

We are seeking individuals to join our Baking team! The Rocco's Baking Team is composed of hardworking, ambitious, coachable, honest, and reliable team players. We will teach you everything you need to know and are willing to train the right candidate. If you are creative, hardworking, and eager to help us craft our delicious products for customers, we’d love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of baked toppings for the day
  • Ability to work overnight shift 12AM-6:30AM
  • Decorating doughnuts according to the current menu
  • Understanding doughnut quantities needed for each Rocco's location
  • Coordinating with store and driver schedules to ensure timely delivery of doughnuts
  • Executing catering & special orders, including giant doughnuts, mini doughnuts, platters, and custom orders
  • Maintaining decoration pace and flow for efficiency
  • Understanding Rocco's standards for glaze, frosting, baking temperatures, dough shape and texture, and visual aesthetics (training provided)
  • Collaborating on doughnut ideas and flavor innovations for the menu
  • Assisting BOH Manager with FIFO to ensure product freshness
  • Cleaning and sanitizing equipment and work areas
  • Preparing custom orders
  • Producing doughnuts through mixing, cutting, proofing, and frying
  • Operating manual and automatic machinery

Qualifications:

  • Ability to operate professional kitchen appliances and equipment
  • Knowledge of food safety practices (training provided)
  • Experience decorating desserts is a plus but not required
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Team player with leadership qualities
  • Availability for early morning or late evening shifts
