Why This Role MattersYou’re not here to wait. You’re here to start things. You will be responsible for proactively building the top of our sales funnel—by qualifying inbound leads, researching new accounts, and directly reaching out to potential customers across industries.
This is a high-activity role: calling, emailing, researching, tracking, and following up to create real momentum. You will also guide end-users through their buying journey—helping them find the right local distributor, setting up product demos, and ensuring no lead is left behind.
We’re looking for someone with a sales mindset, a hunger to learn laser welding inside and out, and the confidence to speak to professionals in welding, fabrication, automation, and manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead Generation & First Contact
- Reach out to inbound and cold prospects via phone, email, Linked In, and messaging.
- Actively reach out to cold and warm leads via phone, email, Linked In, and Whats App.
- Set up demos, meetings, or follow-ups with our sales team or distribution partners.
- Maintain a high level of daily activity: no lead left behind.
- Account Research & Prospecting
- Identify and map accounts in target industries like welding, automation, equipment manufacturing, and industrial cleaning.
- Use tools like Linked In Sales Navigator, Vainu, Apollo, Zoom Info, or industry directories.
- Build smart lists by role, region, and potential product fit (welding vs. cleaning).
- Lead Lifecycle Management
- Help end-users navigate their buyer journey—from first contact to finding the right dealer.
- Monitor deal status and hand-off quality between SDR, sales, and distribution.
- Re-activate older leads from campaigns, events, and THEO Academy.
- Tools, Reporting & CRM
- Maintain clean records in Hub Spot or Salesforce.
- Track outreach, lead status, and meeting outcomes.
- Report on lead quality, conversion metrics, and campaign feedback.
- 2–5 years inside sales, business development, or technical customer engagement.
- Preferred:background in welding tools, industrial automation, robotics, machine tools, or related technical sectors.
- Confident communicator—on the phone, over email, in writing.
- Fluent in English. Bonus:
German, Spanish, or French. - Familiar with lead research platforms and CRM tools.
- Technically curious: eager to learn everything about laser welding.
- High activity mindset, self-starter, organized, and detail-oriented.
