Make a Difference with Arbor Arbor Associates is seeking dependable, flexible Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our per diem bench team supporting residential programs in the Westborough/Marlborough area. Support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities as they build independence, participate in their communities, and receive the daily care they need.
This opportunity is ideal for someone seeking supplemental income who has a flexible schedule. Bench staff cover shifts due to call-outs, vacations, leaves of absence, and other staffing needs. Hours are not guaranteed and vary from week to week.
Schedule and Availability- 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts available
- Weekend availability required
- Ability to accept shifts on short notice when possible
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 30 minutes between assignments
- Provide compassionate direct care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- Assist with daily living activities, including feeding, toileting, bathing, personal hygiene, and meal preparation.
- Encourage independence, choice, and participation in daily routines.
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive environment.
- Follow individualized support plans and behavioral support strategies.
- Complete required documentation and promptly report changes, concerns, or incidents.
- Transport or accompany individuals during community activities when required.
- Communicate effectively with program staff and the Arbor staffing team.
