Job Description:Job Summary
The Software Dev Engineer IV will design and develop web-based dashboards, metrics visualizations, and user interfaces that enable service operators to monitor and manage robotics systems. This is a hands-on senior-level engineering role requiring strong system design and architecture capabilities, with an emphasis on production development. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-performance operational tools that provide real-time insights and actionable data.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and develop web-based dashboards and metrics visualizations
• Create user interfaces for monitoring and managing robotics systems
• Architect and implement scalable solutions while remaining hands-on with production development
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and high-performance operational tools
• Design and implement technical solutions that support real-time insights and actionable operational data
• Ensure web applications meet performance, scalability, reliability, and usability requirements
• Contribute to system design and technical architecture decisions
• Develop production-ready code and participate in the full software development lifecycle
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with query languages such as PromQL, LogQL, or Cloud Watch Insights Query Language
• Knowledge of real-time data streaming technologies such as Web Sockets or Server-Sent Events
• Experience working with alerting systems
• Experience with Application Performance Monitoring tools such as New Relic, Dynatrace, or Datadog
• Experience with log aggregation platforms such as Elasticsearch or Splunk
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Cloud Formation
• Background developing interfaces for industrial, robotics, or infrastructure applications
• Knowledge of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices
