Description
Do you have a passion for aquatics and enjoy teaching swimming and pool safety?
If so, the YMCA of Central Massachusetts, Boroughs Family Branch is looking for you to join our amazing Aquatics Department!
Job Responsibilities- Responsible for teaching swimming skills and techniques to our members with diverse abilities and varying age ranges from young children to older adults
- Create a welcoming environment in the pool and surrounding area for members and their families
- Attend staff trainings and maintain any certifications necessary for the position
- Other duties as assigned by the Aquatics Director
- Must have Swim Instructor certification or must be willing to earn swim instruction certification
- Be at least 16 years old
Weekdays & Weekends including mornings, afternoons and evenings- please let us know your availability!
Job TypePart-time
Pay$20.00 per hour. Plus access to YMCA facilities (gym, pool ect.) for all YMCA employees, Employee Assistance Program, and Sick Leave, 403(b) retirement savings account available for all employees
