Site Engineer

Volker Fitzpatrick offers a range and depth of civil engineering, infrastructure and building services. We build, renew, maintain highways, airports, railway infrastructure, and commercial, industrial and educational buildings. We're looking for an ambitious Site Engineer to join our team on the Southern Renewals Enterprise (SRE), a long-term 10-year framework with Network Rail that is transforming and renewing rail infrastructure across the Southern Route.

As part of our Earthworks team, you'll be based from our Gravesend office and work across a variety of projects throughout Kent. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who is looking to build their career on complex infrastructure projects while gaining hands-on experience in a supportive, collaborative environment.

This role offers far more than day-to-day site engineering responsibilities. You'll have the opportunity to work alongside experienced engineers, project managers and technical specialists, developing your skills while contributing to projects that make a real difference. You'll gain exposure to:
Major rail infrastructure and earthworks projects Site management and project delivery Engineering and technical excellence Planning and construction methodologies Stakeholder and client engagement Safety, quality and environmental best practice About you MEng, BEng, Foundation Degree, Degree or BTEC in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
