Role: BIM Specialist I – Electrical
Create, maintain, and update Revit models of electrical systems for commercial and industrial projects.
Key Responsibilities- Build and maintain accurate electrical BIM models in Revit.
- Coordinate with other trades to support overall design integration.
- Perform clash detection using Navisworks and resolve model coordination issues.
- Generate shop drawings from BIM models.
- Produce model-based takeoffs to support estimating and material quantification.
- Create and deliver as-built drawings reflecting field-installed conditions.
- Collaborate with BIM leads, project teams, and field personnel to ensure information accuracy for installation.
- Strong proficiency in Revit for electrical modeling.
- Working knowledge of Navisworks for clash detection and coordination.
- Ability to translate BIM information into shop drawings and as-built deliverables.
- Competence in generating model-based takeoffs.
- Detail-oriented with strong coordination and communication skills.
