This psychiatrist role involves providing inpatient psychiatric care within an innovative, flexible float pool model across multiple settings. The position supports high-quality patient care by directing treatment teams and planning pharmacologic and therapeutic interventions.
It offers flexible scheduling, working approximately 30-40 weeks per year, with responsibilities including coverage during staff absences and exposure to various disciplines and locations.
Qualifications include:- graduation from an allopathic or osteopathic medical school
- completion of psychiatric residency or fellowship
- valid medical license in Maine
- certification or eligibility by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology
- current DEA registration
- at least 3 years of experience
- inpatient psychiatric care
- team leadership
