Experienced Parts Counter Associate

Overview

The Bill Dodge Auto Group is BUSY! We’re looking to add a key member to our Parts Department. If you’re well organized, a hard worker, and have a passion for having fun at work while delivering a quality experience for customers and coworkers alike, we should chat! We are looking for someone with experience working in a parts department.

Schedule is Monday-Friday, 6:00am-3:00pm

Compensation: $50,000 to $75,000 per year

• Provides high level of service to internal and external customers.
• Keeps orderly records of all invoices and special-order parts.
• Locates out-of-stock parts from outside source and submits an emergency order, if necessary.
• Participates with the parts manager in maintaining a lost sales tracking program.
• Issues credit for parts returned.
• Organizes and maintains the parts department in the most efficient layout.
• Assists in establishing and maintaining a special-order parts system.
• Maintains proper logging and saves parts from each job for warranty and customer request purposes.
• Understands and ensures compliance with manufacturer warranty, policy and procedures.
• Sets up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up.
• Receives payment from retail customers or obtains credit authorization.
• Makes sure all internal requests for parts are billed on service repair order.
• Assists manager in processing weekly stock orders.
• Stocks and posts incoming orders.

• Parts department experience required
• Computer proficient, both with CDK and Microsoft Office programs
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Be a dedicated, energetic, team player who wants to join our ever-growing network of dealerships
• Valid Driver’s License w/ acceptable driving record
