Overview

Pro Search is hiring on behalf of a well-respected client in Westbrook, Maine, for a Temporary Billing Data Associate. This is a hybrid role requiring two days per week in the office and offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a data-driven finance and billing team. This position is ideal for a data-savvy and tech-savvy professional with a background in accounting and financial operations.

The Billing Data Associate will be responsible for pulling, analyzing, and reviewing data, processing billing transactions, and producing reports to support business decision-making. The role requires a strong understanding of numbers and the confidence and maturity to present financial data clearly and accurately.

Job Title: Temporary Billing Data Associate

Location: Westbrook, Maine (Hybrid – 2 days per week in office)

Pay Range: $30–33 per hour

Employment Type: Temporary

• Pull, clean, and analyze billing and financial data from various sources
• Process billing transactions accurately and on schedule
• Prepare financial and billing reports for internal teams and leadership review
• Use Microsoft Excel to build and maintain spreadsheets using advanced formulas and pivot tables
• Perform data validation to ensure accuracy and integrity of billing and reporting outputs
• Review financial records and billing discrepancies to resolve data or payment issues
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to clarify billing processes, data needs, and reporting schedules
• Identify opportunities for process improvements in billing operations and data workflows
• Support financial documentation and data preparation for audits or internal reviews

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related business field
• 3+ years of experience in billing, data analysis, or financial operations
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and financial modeling
• Strong analytical and deductive reasoning skills
• Comfort working with financial data, including interpreting trends, variances, and performance indicators
• Experience with financial systems such as SAP or subscription billing platforms like Charge Bee
• High attention to detail, with the ability to spot errors and inconsistencies in data
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong time management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau is a plus

• Hybrid work model:
  Two days per week required onsite in the Westbrook, Maine office
