Working in a supportive role under the direct supervision of the Pharmacist, the Pharmacy Technician III – Anticoagulation Program role is an expert Pharmacy Technician who assists the pharmacist by preparing and distributing medications, maintaining drug inventory and pertinent patient records. This role serves as a resource/mentor for other Pharmacy Technicians.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)- Education:
Associate’s Degree preferred. - License/
Certifications:
Current or eligible for applicable state(s) license as a Pharmacy Technician. CPhT or PTCB certificate is required within one year of hire. - Experience:
Three years of experience as a pharmacy technician in healthcare or related environment required. Demonstrates competency in all essential functions of a Pharmacy Technician II role. - Additional Skills/Requirements
