Hours: Monday–Friday with weekend rotation

We are looking for a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) to join a skilled nursing facility in Westbrook, Maine. This full-time opportunity offers 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday with a weekend rotation
, providing a consistent schedule while allowing you to make a meaningful impact on patients throughout their rehabilitation journey.

The center provides post-hospital and short-term rehabilitation as well as long-term and respite care services, creating a diverse clinical environment where no two patient journeys are exactly alike.

The center has also earned the Skilled Nursing Facility Heart Failure Certification from the American Heart Association

• Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations
• Develop individualized plans of care based on patient needs and functional goals
• Provide skilled therapeutic interventions to improve strength, mobility, balance, endurance, and independence
• Work with patients recovering from hospitalization as well as those receiving long-term or respite care
• Monitor patient response to treatment and modify plans as clinically appropriate
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, mobility, safety, and home programs
• Collaborate with nursing, therapy, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
• Promote patient safety and positive rehabilitation outcomes

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited program
• Current Maine Physical Therapist license
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach
• Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team
• Strong organizational and documentation skills
