As a SAP ABAP Application Developer
, you will support, plan, and coordinate technical activities related to development within SAP landscapes. You will work alongside talented Technical Leads, Architects, Analysts, and Developers to deliver high-quality solutions in a dynamic international environment.
Contributing to our complex Order-to-Cash, Finance, Operations, Warehouse, Planning, Supply chain, QM processes, you will be part of a team of 80+ associates located in the US, Europe, and China. We have been working on many challenging initiatives, such as launching new product implementation and rollout SAP for different businesses/markets.
In This Role
, you will:
- Design and implement CDS Views and AMDP based on business requirements with Code Push Downs, Gateway Service Exposure, and Embedded Analytics methods.
- Understand business requirements, design a feasible technical solution, and drive detailed application design in SAP applications.
- Gather application-specific project requirements and collaborate with Solution Architects on project design.
- Review code, implement best practices, and drive superior quality in technical deliverables.
- Collaborate with the team to reduce or eliminate design or development defects and ensure comprehensive System Integration Testing.
What You Will Need To Succeed
:
- 3-5+ years of experience with OO ABAP development in a complex landscape.
- Strong knowledge and working experience with Adobe forms, AMDP, CDS, OData Service, BRF+, and HANA proxy objects.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP S/4
HANA Technical Architecture concepts. - Expertise in BDT Framework Enhancements, BAPI, Webservices, Standard Program debugging techniques, and Performance Tuning Tools.
- Strong ABAP/4 development skills, excellent communication skills, and ability to find root causes and troubleshoot.
It will be an advantage if you have experience with
:
- SAP Fiori/UI5.
- S4/HANA Extensibility Framework (In-App Extensibility / Side by Side Extensibility).
- Tableau, BOBJ, SAP BW on Hana, Knowledge of SAP BPC, SAC, and BODS.
Location
:
Driving distance to Westbrook, Maine, with a minimum of 8 days on-site per month.

- Base annual salary target: $90,000 - $100,000.
