In this position, you will design and architect cloud-native data pipelines, build scalable data solutions, and support near real‑time data delivery across a fast‑paced scientific research environment. About the Role

As a Senior Data Architect, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable, fault‑tolerant data pipelines and services that power critical diagnostics systems. You’ll be instrumental in improving near real‑time data delivery, ensuring accuracy, performance, and reliability across the architecture.

This position reports to the Development Manager and operates within an Agile team environment, requiring close coordination with engineering, product, QE, and customer‑focused partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable, serverless data solutions using AWS services such as Glue and Lambda
  • Develop and optimize data pipelines that support near real‑time processing
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to understand data requirements and deliver complete, reliable solutions
  • Document data flows, architecture decisions, and metadata to ensure transparency and maintainability
  • Build fault‑tolerant systems that ensure high availability and resilience
  • Partner with Quality Engineering to support testing and validation of data solutions
  • Develop architecture that supports operational and business data needs across a global enterprise
Required Qualifications
  • Strong analytical and independent problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical audiences
  • Demonstrated experience building and maintaining operational data pipelines
