Typical daily duties:- Set up and operate manual, milling, and turning machines to produce precision parts
- Inspect finished products to ensure compliance with blueprints and specifications
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and adjust machines as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent required; 2‑year technical degree preferred
- 5+ years of experience in a machine tool trade
- Skilled with horizontal milling machines, measuring tools, gauges, and cutting tools
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and routing instructions
