Description
Maine Health Behavioral Health is recruiting for a Psychiatric Mental Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or Psychiatric Physician Associate/Physician Assistant (PPA) to work in our Life Span position at Spring Harbor Hospital. This is a unique role in the hospital with the opportunity to care for the life span of Mental Health care. The position provides care on all units within Spring Harbor which is a standalone 100 bed acute care psychiatric hospital, serving both as an academic center as well as the tertiary mental health hospital in the Maine Health system.
ScheduleThe hours are Monday-Friday, 8 AM to 4:30 PM, weekend call 1-6
Minimum Qualifications- Graduate of PA/PMNHP program. For PMHNP must have the ability to treat the life span
- Licenses:
Current and valid license by respective Maine Licensing body and appropriate associated board certifications - Current DEA registration
- Meets credentialing criteria defined in Medical Staff By-Laws and associated entity
- 2 years' experience of acute psychiatric patient care preferred
