The RoleWe’re looking for coaches who inspire and create exceptional moments on a daily basis. As an OTF Fitness Coach, you will be responsible for delivering pre‑designed workouts to up to 45 clients per session, managing time, motivating multiple clients in a group setting, and focusing on a well‑rounded theory of fitness—endurance, strength, and power.
Responsibilities- Lead, inspire, and motivate members by demonstrating exercises and proper techniques for pre‑defined workouts; help members set and achieve goals.
- Clearly demonstrate and explain exercises, ensuring participants understand the correct form and technique to perform them safely and effectively; offer options for various fitness levels or individual limitations.
- Manage class dynamics by creating a positive and inclusive atmosphere, fostering a sense of community and teamwork, and ensuring smooth transitions between exercises.
- Understand the science behind Orange theory Fitness workouts—specifically heart‑rate interval training.
- Prioritize safety by monitoring movements, correcting improper form, addressing safety concerns, maintaining a hazard‑free environment, and being prepared to administer basic first aid if necessary.
- Engage members consistently and conduct outreach to encourage ongoing participation.
- Must currently hold a valid fitness certification from an OTF‑approved education company such as ACSM, ACE, NASM, NCSA, AFAA, or NFPT.
- Intermediate knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics.
- Ability to multi‑task and stay organized.
- Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills.
- Desire and capacity to train all fitness levels.
- Bachelor’s degree in an exercise‑related field (preferred).
- CPR/AED certification.
- 1+ years of experience teaching groups or personal training in the fitness industry.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Must be able to safely lift and move up to 40 lbs.
- Career growth into Multi‑Unit Fitness Manager roles.

- Base hourly rate.
- Commission: total compensation per class $25‑$75 based on class size.
- Clients are provided by the studio; no need to chase additional clients or move between locations.
