** to run our daytime operation — receiving, stocking, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory — and to lead a workforce of 10–15 people that is safe, accurate, and proud of the work it does.

This is not a manage-from-the-office job. You'll spend about

** What you'll do
**** Safety first, every shift
*** Lead a strong culture of safety and maintain a safe, secure work environment at all times.
* Oversee safety and accident-prevention programs so every team member goes home safe.
* Deliver annual Safety and Food Safety training for all Day Warehouse personnel.
* Protect the safety and security of goods, materials, and the facility.
** Run day warehouse operations
*** Oversee receiving, stocking, picking, packing, shipping, inventory management, and documentation.
* Make sure orders are prepared accurately and shipped on time, in line with company policy.
* Partner with the Inventory Control/QA Manager and Night Operations Manager to optimize layouts, workflows, and use of warehouse space for a smooth 24-hour handoff.
* Use our WMS, ERP, and other systems to track and analyze performance, and maintain daily production and accuracy records.
** Own Inbound Quality
*** Lead the Receiving Team on inbound quality checks.
* Work with Purchasing and QA to meet customer expectations and regulatory requirements (FDA, USDA, OSHA).
** Build and lead a high-performing team
*** Supervise warehouse hourly staff, leading a workforce of 10–15 people; set clear goals, communicate expectations, and coach people to hit them.
* Hire, onboard, and train new team members, and evaluate performance.
* Handle coaching and discipline fairly and consistently, and provide input on compensation, promotion, and termination decisions.
* Create a productive, respectful culture where people can learn new skills and grow.
** Manage the business of the warehouse
*** Build work schedules, including extra shifts and days as volume requires.
* Manage labor hours and consumable supplies within budget while maximizing productivity.
* Identify, implement, and measure process improvements.
* Report on warehouse activities, results, and issues to leadership, and support the business unit's strategic and operating plan.## Qualifications
