Teacher Active is proud to be working with a specialist school in Westbury supporting pupils aged 11 to 18 who have faced challenges within previous educational settings. The school provides small class sizes and a supportive environment where pupils are encouraged to rebuild their confidence, develop positive relationships with learning and recognise their individual strengths.

The school is seeking a QTS Teacher to join them from September on a full-time, TEMPORARY, long-term basis. The successful QTS Teacher will plan and deliver engaging lessons for pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans / EHCPs, primarily supporting students with ASD and SEMH needs while maintaining clear expectations, effective classroom management and a consistent approach to learning.

The successful QTS Teacher will have:

QTS / Qualified Teacher Status

Experience teaching pupils at secondary level

Experience supporting pupils with ASD and/or SEMH needs

A strong understanding of Education, Health and Care Plans / EHCPs

Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills

A resilient, patient and adaptable approach to teaching
