Paralegal

Description We are looking for an experienced Paralegal to join a dynamic personal injury law firm located in Westbury, New York. The position offers a supportive and collaborative environment with opportunities for skill development and growth. If you have a strong background in civil litigation and case management, this role will allow you to make a meaningful impact while working closely with attorneys.

Responsibilities:

- Manage legal cases from start to finish, ensuring all necessary steps are completed accurately and efficiently.

- Analyze and review medical records, updates, and interrogatories to support case development.

- Draft a variety of legal documents, including pleadings, memos, and correspondence.

- Coordinate the electronic filing of legal documents through appropriate systems.

- Communicate with medical providers to request and obtain necessary records for case evaluation.

- Support attorneys with trial preparation tasks, with training provided as needed.

- Maintain accurate and organized case files using case management software.

- Collaborate with attorneys to ensure all litigation processes are handled effectively.

- Provide administrative and legal support to attorneys in personal injury cases. Requirements - A minimum of 5 years of experience in a paralegal role.

- Proficiency in discovery and civil litigation processes.

- Familiarity with trial preparation and the ability to learn new procedures.

- Strong knowledge of case management software and organizational tools.

- Experience handling personal injury litigation.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines efficiently.

- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills to review legal and medical documents.
