Join the beauty retail division of CVS Health, America’s leading retail pharmacy with more than 8,000 stores. We are seeking a talented, sales‑oriented, licensed beauty sales consultant who is passionate about the beauty industry.
Position SummaryProvide a high‑quality customer experience in Beauty & Personal Care, offering paid beauty services and personalized product advice. Manage end‑to‑end interactions and maintain brand excellence.
Customer Sales Experience- Seek out customers to ensure they receive a world‑class beauty advisor experience.
- Provide personalized sales service based on customer needs, upselling and suggestive selling.
- Use verbal skills to stimulate conversation and generate sales.
- Be the brand expert, answering customer questions in detail with product knowledge to produce the largest sales basket possible.
- Engage all customers with CVS services, Beauty Club programs, and invite them to in‑store events or explain current promotions to close the sale of products and services.
- Represent both CVS and partner brands, upholding the highest standards of service.
- Provide ear‑piercing services in all stores; perform any other applicable services as required.
- Pass assessments of proficiency before performing services in store.
- Educate customers by demonstrating proper product usage and highlighting product features and benefits.
- Manage time effectively between consultations, scheduled services and walk‑in clients.
- Display a current and active Cosmetology/Esthetician license during all working hours.
- Create and maintain product displays and promotional materials.
- Participate in and represent CVS at sales programs and events.
- Maintain a clean and well‑stocked zone, complying with hygiene standards.
- Execute all sanitation and hazardous waste disposal policies timely and compliantly.
- Complete ongoing sales, brand, and paid service training in a timely manner.
- Maintain a professional appearance in compliance with company policies.
- Stay updated on the latest beauty trends and techniques; be a beauty enthusiast.
- Exposure to the latest industry products through brand interaction and training.

- Current and valid Cosmetology/Esthetician license in the state of employment.
- Display an active license during all working hours as mandated by that state.
- Perform ear‑piercing services in all stores; perform all other services offered in the store.
- Pass all required skill assessments and training courses.
- Use sales data and product knowledge to meet sales and service goals.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Goal‑driven, multi‑tasking ability.
- Work independently and as part of a fast‑paced team, handling multiple priorities.
- Availability for a flexible retail schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and peak hours.
- Minimum 18 years of age; high school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior beauty sales experience with a strong passion for beauty.
- Stand for extended periods; move throughout the store for customer service and stocking.
- Sto p or crouch, reach or grasp objects on lower shelves.
- Perform duties requiring manual dexterity (e.g., hair styling, makeup application, ear piercing).
- Physical abilities to support the required qualifications listed above.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
