Registered Behavior Technician RBT/BT - Full Time

ABA Centers of Rhode Island is offering a full‑time position for a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in Westerly, RI. The role provides paid training and preparation for the RBT exam through the ABA Academy of Excellence.

Base Pay
: $48,048.00 per year (approximately $23.10 per hour). Final compensation will be determined by a candidate’s experience, training, and educational credentials.

• Support individuals with autism in home, community, or one of our centers.
• Teach daily living and social skills using evidence‑based treatments.
• Collect, organize, and summarize unbiased data during sessions.
• Participate in clinical team meetings and ongoing training.
• Implement sessions designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
• Communicate and collaborate with RBTs, BCBAs, families, executive directors, and team members to support client needs.
• Perform other clerical and administrative duties as assigned.

• High‑school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old (21 if located in New Jersey).
• Availability during after‑school hours, weekends, and holidays.
• Consistent, reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and car insurance for in‑home services.
• Maintain clean background, drug screenings, and driving record.
• BT: Attend a 40‑hour, full‑time paid training course and pass the RBT exam within 45 days of hire.
• RBT: Attend required paid training program.
