Registered Behavior Technician RBT/BT - Full Time
ABA Centers of Rhode Island is offering a full‑time position for a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in Westerly, RI. The role provides paid training and preparation for the RBT exam through the ABA Academy of Excellence.
Base Pay
: $48,048.00 per year (approximately $23.10 per hour). Final compensation will be determined by a candidate’s experience, training, and educational credentials.

The company will train you and offer pathways to lead roles, supervisory positions, and BCBAs, including full scholarship for a Master’s in ABA at Temple University and a BCBA Apprentice Program.
- Support individuals with autism in home, community, or one of our centers.
- Teach daily living and social skills using evidence‑based treatments.
- Collect, organize, and summarize unbiased data during sessions.
- Participate in clinical team meetings and ongoing training.
- Implement sessions designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
- Communicate and collaborate with RBTs, BCBAs, families, executive directors, and team members to support client needs.
- Perform other clerical and administrative duties as assigned.
- High‑school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be at least 18 years old (21 if located in New Jersey).
- Availability during after‑school hours, weekends, and holidays.
- Consistent, reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and car insurance for in‑home services.
- Maintain clean background, drug screenings, and driving record.
- BT: Attend a 40‑hour, full‑time paid training course and pass the RBT exam within 45 days of hire.
- RBT: Attend required paid training program.
- 21 paid days off (15 days PTO, plus 6 holidays).
