PT Clerk - Front End

Stop & Shop, a trusted retailer serving communities for over a century, is looking for dedicated cashiers to join our team. Cashiers are the face of our stores, providing friendly and efficient service to our customers while accurately handling transactions.

We rely on our cashiers to handle products and customers with care. They scan purchases, bag groceries, process all transactions, and answer customer questions. Cashiers also maintain a clean and organized checkout area and may assist with other store duties as needed.

• Operate POS systems to complete sales and process payments accurately.
• Scan items, bag groceries, and handle returning or exchanging merchandise.
• Answer customer inquiries and resolve issues in a courteous manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including cash handling and security.
• Assist with inventory, stock restocking, and other store tasks as directed.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail or customer service experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and math skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.
