Job Responsibilities- Administer, manage, communicate, and update the company’s safety program, processes and procedures.
- Monitor and evaluate federal, state, and local regulations for impact on the company and daily operations.
- Collaborate with project managers, supervisors, and subcontractors to integrate safety into all aspects of construction activities.
- Serve as a consultant to associates at all levels in the field and office regarding technical and organizational aspects of safety.
- Conduct jobsite and work area audits.
- Attend planning, pre‑job and project meetings to ensure safety concerns are being addressed and resolved.
- Assist in identifying safety training and educational needs, and coordinate their development.
- Participate with RLG’s safety committee.

- Excellent leadership, organization and communication skills.
- Ability to interact effectively among multiple layers of the organization, including subcontractors and clients.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to identify hazards and risks in construction environments and develop mitigation strategies.
- Experience investigating incidents and near‑mises.
- Proficiency in maintaining accurate safety records.
- Quick decision‑making under pressure.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Self‑motivated, disciplined, and capable of working independently.
- Strong critical thinking, problem‑solving, and prioritization skills.
- Excellent listening and conversation leadership.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Safety Management, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
- 3‑5 years of experience in commercial construction safety, with proven solutions to eliminate hazards.
- Relevant safety certifications (e.g., OSHA certifications, CSP).
- In‑depth understanding of construction procedures and processes.
