Job Summary

As a Senior ICT Mechanical Engineer at Vertiv, you will be a leader in the engineering team, designing and developing innovative, manufacturable products and solutions tailored to customer requirements. Your role will include mentoring engineers and colleagues by sharing your industry expertise, while contributing to both routine and complex projects that demand creativity, persistence, and practical problem‑solving. You’ll thrive in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment that prioritizes customer satisfaction and collaboration.

Responsibilities
  • Guide and lead engineers, project management, and product development with your industry experience and knowledge of ICT design.
  • Develop detailed 3D models and technical drawings for sheet metal enclosures and other components using Autodesk Inventor and other software.
  • Collaborate with sales, product development, project managers, and other colleagues and industry leaders to design products and solutions that meet or exceed our customers’ expectations.
  • Interface with manufacturing teams, external vendors, and other internal and external stakeholders to ensure designs and drawings align with manufacturing capabilities.
  • Coordinate with other teams and departments to create and develop instructions and other support documentation for both customer and standard products.
  • Troubleshoot manufacturing and design issues, contribute to their resolution—hands‑on when necessary—and apply lessons learned to drive future improvements.
Minimum Requirements
  • Experience in information communication technology (ICT) industry, data centers or other IT infrastructure design.
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent work experience.
  • 8–10 years of engineering experience in sheet metal design or manufacturing.
  • Strong background in 3D modeling;
    Autodesk Inventor preferred.
  • Strong communication skills with ability to work efficiently, both independently and within a team.
  • Experience working in a customer‑focused, engineered‑to‑order (ETO) environment.
  • Experience designing for manufacturing processes including laser cutting, punch press, press brake, welding, and powder coating.
  • Strong proficiency in industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Hands‑on or applied experience in manufacturing, sheet metal preferred.
  • Experience with Autodesk iLogic,  (), Python, C# or C++.
