The Echo Cardiovascular Sonographer is responsible for performing vascular diagnostic testing as per Accreditation Guidelines. Reports preliminary findings for physician interpretation, and functions within the standards, policies, procedures and guidelines of the organization.

• Registered by the ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) as a RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) or RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) or by CCI (Cardiovascular Credentialing International) as an RCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer) or RVS (Registered Vascular Specialist)
