Chase within the Consumer and Community Branch workplace technology team that works to enhance, build, and deliver trusted market‑leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. As a core technical contributor, you are responsible for conducting critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm's business objectives.

Job Responsibilities
  • Partners and collaborates with product, architecture, security and operations teams prioritize reliability and embed best practices across the software development lifecycle to improve operations across the Branch Products.
  • Lead and develop resilient software solutions that improve reliability, scalability and system performance of the Branch Systems.
  • Leads evaluation sessions with external and internal teams to outcomes‑oriented probing of architectural designs, technical credentials, and applicability for use within existing systems and information architecture.
  • Develops secure high‑quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others.
  • Leads communities of practice across Software Engineering to drive awareness and use of new and leading‑edge technologies.
  • Adds to team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Formal training or certification on software development concepts and 5+ years applied experience, SRE/Dev Ops, platform engineer, or similar.
  • Proficiency in operating and managing cloud‑based services using IaC or EaC (infrastructure as code, environment as code Terraform or similar) in AWS.
  • Hands‑on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
  • Proficient in utilizing observability tooling Splunk, Dynatrace, Grafana, Datadog etc.
  • Advanced in programming in Java and Python technologies.
  • Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods/patterns.
  • Experience across the whole Software Development Life Cycle.
  • Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.).
  • Fluent in English.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • AWS Certifications (e.g. Solutions Architect Associate).
  • Experienced in SRE/Dev Ops practices (SLA/SLOs, error budgets, MTTR, MTTD).
  • Knowledge of RAG architectures and exposure to AI/automation technologies that improve operations.
  • Knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems.
