• Inspects a variety of mechanical mechanisms and products for defense and aerospace use, using measuring/inspection instruments with proper inspection techniques.
• Reads, interprets, and utilizes Quality policies, procedures, mechanical blueprints, and other documentation.
• Responsible for First Article Inspections (FAIs) and completes related documentation.
• Completes and ensures inspection documents are kept current to include FAIs per AS9102.
• Performs and completes internal containment activity of identified non-conformances.
• Acts as a Source Inspector.

• HS diploma with a minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience is required. A college degree is preferred.
• 5-7 years of experience as a Quality Inspector in a manufacturing facility is required.
• Experience in an Aerospace Manufacturing facility is preferred.
• 5-7 years of experience in Inspection duties and FAls is required.
• Experience in performing FAl AS9102 is required.
• Experience in visual inspection of mechanical and electro-mechanical components, sub-assemblies and assemblies of machined components is required; visual inspection in defense/aerospace machined components is strongly preferred.
• Experience with inspection instruments is required.
• In-process and final inspection experience within defense industry is preferred.
• IPC, J-STD, and Mil-Spec inspection experience is preferred.
