Overview
Assistant Managers are tasked with working closely with the location manager, other assistant managers, COO, and CEO to ensure smooth daily operations at The Escape Room USA and a 5-star experience for every guest.
Responsibilities- Assisting the location manager in organizing, planning and implementing strategy, as well as day-to-day operations.
- Maintain close communication with the location manager, other assistant managers, COO, and CEO through Group Me to provide clear updates regarding rooms, repairs, customer service, and operations.
- Ensure company guidelines are followed.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Schedule Escape Room Adventures over the phone and in person.
- Coordinate with the Director of Sales regarding current booking procedures, promotions, and policies.
- Provide training to employees on Escape Room processes, check-in, and lounge.
- Delegate tasks to employees to ensure rooms and day-to-day operations run smoothly.
- Supervise, lead and motivate employees.
- Run Escape Rooms as needed.
- Prepare and serve drinks in the lounge as needed.
- Communicate with guests regarding TERUSA product and policies.
- Convey the TERUSA product with high efficiency and attention to detail.
- Guide and interact with customers through all aspects of their Escape Room Adventure.
- Monitor customer satisfaction and manage and resolve customer complaints (reporting issues to upper management immediately).

- Ability to follow directions and ask questions as needed
- Ability to handle physical activity such as deep cleaning, standing, crawling, bending, lifting 20-40 pounds as needed
- Adherence to company policies and Core Values
- May be required to stay late or come in early depending on needs
- Passion for Escape Rooms/entertainment experiences
- Desire to provide a 5-star experience to team and guests
- Flexibility and teachability
- Great communication skills with guests, management, and staff, including giving clear hints and instructions
- Commitment to immersive atmosphere while running rooms
- Outgoing personality
- Prior managerial experience
- Prior experience playing escape rooms
- Prior experience in customer service or entertainment
- Theater, improv, and public speaking experience
This position is full-time with approximately 40-50 hours per week. Benefits for full-time employees include health, dental, vision insurance, 401(k), PTO, and competitive pay.
