** Key objectives
** The Lease Accountant is responsible for managing all financial processes from lease contracts signed with tenants to ensuring accurate and complete data entry in the financial system (SAP). This includes processes such as rent invoicing, service charge settlements, and sales-based rent settlements, all of which contribute to ensuring that financial statements provide a true and fair representation of the organisation’s financial position.
The role involves professional interaction with tenants as well as close collaboration with internal departments, including Leasing, Investment Managers, Legal, Accounting, and Accounts Payable.
** What you will be doing…**
* ** Inputting lease contracts in SAP**:
Ensure accurate and timely data entry.
* ** Issuing rental invoices**:
Prepare and send invoices to tenants.
* ** Settling service charges**:
Manage service charge reconciliations with tenants.
* ** Handling sales-based rent**:
Process settlements and follow up on sales declarations.
* ** Updating rental data in SAP**:
Maintain accurate records of rental units.
* ** Managing rent accruals**:
Support the financial closing process.
* ** Providing tenant support**:
Respond to inquiries via phone and email professionally.
* Previous experience in lease accounting or property management,
* Preferably knowledge of SAP or similar financial systems.
* Strong attention to detail for accurate data entry and reconciliation.
* Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple financial processes simultaneously.
* Effective communication skills for professional interaction with tenants and collaboration with internal departments.
* Fluent in Swedish and English.
