Hybrid Manufacturing Accountant

Base Pay Range

$95,000 - $105,000 per year

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manufacturing Accountant to join our team in the engineering industry. This role offers the flexibility of a hybrid work environment, allowing you to work both on‑site and remotely. As a Sr Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in our financial operations, providing in‑depth analysis and insights, and ensuring the accuracy of our financial statements.

• Oversee the preparation and consolidation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting activities including reconciliations of bank and credit card accounts.
• Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements and professional standards.
• Coordinate the provision of information to external auditors for the annual audit.
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
• Provide financial analyses as needed, in particular for capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations.
• Collaborate with financial staff and executives to forecast, plan, and manage the financial aspects of our business.
• Monitor and confirm financial condition by conducting audits and providing information to external auditors.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA or other relevant certification is preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or related field.
• Strong understanding of accounting theory and principles.
• High proficiency in Excel and experience with a major ERP system.
• Experience with financial reporting requirements.
• Proven experience in performing external audits.
• Experience with financial data analysis and reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage well through ambiguity and complexity.
• Demonstrated leadership ability, team management, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
