The Medical Assistant will assist the provider at an ambulatory health care site with facilitation of patient visits and procedures, routine laboratory tests, referrals, and quality outcomes for the practice population. As an MA, you will also actively participate in network quality initiatives to improve best practices.

• Graduate or certificate of completion from a recognized medical assisting program OR a High School Diploma/GED with one year of medical assistant experience in a physician practice within the past three years.
• Medical Assistant certification required within 6 months of hire.
• Prepare exam rooms and treatment areas, including cleaning and stocking supplies.
• Room patients and manage an efficient flow of the provider’s caseload.
• Obtain vital signs, EKGs, and specimen collections as needed.
• Document care using the EPIC EMR system.
• Perform point‑of‑care testing based on patient chief complaints and available protocols.
• Process referrals and medication refills.
• Maintain positive relationships with patients, providers, and staff.

1‑2 Years Of MA Experience Strongly Preferred
