Assistant Program Coordinator – Full Time Opportunity

If so, we want you on our team as an Assistant Program Coordinator (APC).
As an APC in our Westfield, MA adult group home location, you will be at the heart of our mission, providing essential support to individuals ages 22 years old and up with Autism and developmental disabilities in a shared living setting to help them achieve their goals and dreams. With compassion, creativity, and a commitment to personalized care, you will engage in activities that promote skill-building and enhance overall quality of life.
Responsibilities- Personalized Care:
Provide assistance with personal hygiene, meal prep, medication, and transportation. - Nurturing Environment:
Cultivate a warm, safe space where independence, dignity, and respect thrive, empowering each resident. - Skill Enhancement:
Use positive behavior support methods to address challenges and foster skill growth. - Team Synergy:
Collaborate with therapists, caregivers, and healthcare professionals to design holistic care plans.
- At least 1 year of experience working with individuals with Autism.
- Valid and current U.S. driver’s license with a minimum of 1 year of licensed driving experience.
- Prior supervisory experience is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and empathy toward individuals from all walks of life.
- Reliable, compassionate, and patient.
- Adaptability and flexibility to meet diverse needs and changing environments.
- Compensation: $22 per hour ($23 if MAP certified)
