We are seeking a talented individual with Human Resource and Payroll Experience in Long Term Care to join our dynamic team at Vantage Care, LLC! As we continue to grow and expand, we are looking for passionate and skilled professionals who are eager to make a meaningful impact.
Location: Vantage at Westfield, 60 E Silver St, Westfield, MA 01085.
Responsibilities- HR/Payroll are responsible for ensuring employees are paid accurately, editing time cards daily and processing payroll on a biweekly basis.
- Direct the HR department in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local standards and regulations.
- Recommend to the administrator the number and level of personnel to be employed.
- Review departmental staffing requests, fill requests as approved, arrange interviews, appointments, etc.
- Assist in determining departmental staffing, evaluate employee performances, make recommendations on wage and salary adjustments, hiring, terminations, transfers.
- Check applications and references, arrange interviews with department directors.
- Maintain job applications for personnel eligible to work in the facility.
- Maintain confidentiality of all pertinent employee information in accordance with the Privacy Act.
- Ensure appropriate documentation of employees’ right to work in compliance with current laws.
- Consult with department directors on staffing, eliminating problem areas, and improving services.
- Develop, implement, and maintain an adequate personnel record filing system that meets facility needs and employment practices.
- Prepare, recommend, and maintain records and procedures for controlling personnel transactions and reporting personnel data.
