Full‑time, night shift
Location:
East Longmeadow, MA | Salary: $28.00-$32.00 per hour
- Safely sets up, operates, and monitors press machinery and equipment to meet customer and production goals.
- Completes press machine setup for production runs, including loading materials, adjusting settings, and calibrating equipment.
- Monitors the production process, inspects and tests materials and equipment using safe and proper protocols to ensure products meet quality standards and production quotas are met.
- Verifies and tracks all materials for inventory and work‑in‑progress regulations.
- Troubleshoots equipment malfunctions and performs routine maintenance tasks to keep machinery operating efficiently.
- Trains and provides guidance to machine assistants and new crew members.
- Keeps machinery and surrounding areas organized, meeting housekeeping, storage, staging, and cleanliness requirements.
- Adheres to all safety guidelines and procedures, wears appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and reports any safety hazards or concerns to the appropriate team member.
- Completes all necessary documentation for internal or external use.
- Effectively works with other departments or team members—such as machine technicians, supervisors, and quality control inspectors—to coordinate production activities and address any potential issues as they arise.
- All other duties as assigned.
- HS/GED required; HS/GED preferred.
- 2‑4 years’ experience in a related field required.
- This position has no leadership duties.
- Maintains strict confidentiality and protects privacy of confidential/sensitive information.
- Exceptional time‑management and organization skills; ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously and establish priorities to meet deadlines.
- Ability to communicate effectively (verbal, written, and presentations) with executive leadership, staff, and internal and external clients.
- Proactive; exercises sound judgment and decision‑making; able to identify problems and needs and develop solutions and/or options.
- Self‑confident, self‑motivated polished professional who thrives in a challenging, fast‑paced environment.
