As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Westfield, you will provide daily nursing care and services to assigned residents in accordance with each resident’s assessment and care plan. • Participate in and receive the nursing report at the start of each shift.
• Assist residents with daily oral hygiene and mouth care needs.
• Aid residents with bathing (bed bath, tub, or shower) and dressing/undressing.
• Help with lifting, turning, moving, and positioning residents safely. Record all entries in flow sheets, notes, and charts in an informative and descriptive manner.
• Report any changes in a resident’s condition promptly to the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse.
• Report all accidents and incidents observed during the shift.
• Prepare residents’ rooms for new admissions (bed made, name tags, admission kit, etc.).
• Follow assigned work schedules and tasks.
• Cooperate with other departments and facility personnel to ensure resident needs are met.
• Be flexible in accepting different assignments.

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) License in Massachusetts.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Solid English communication skills.
• A genuine passion for caring for the elderly.
• A flexible schedule and willingness to help the team succeed.
