Job Summary:

The Shop Manager /Master Mechanicisresponsibleforoverseeingthedailyoperationsoftheshop,ensuringthetimelyandefficientmaintenanceandrepairofheavyequipmentanddieseltrucks.

• Minimumof7–10yearsofprogressiveexperienceindieselmechanicsandheavyequipmentmaintenance,includingatleast3–5yearsinamanagerialorseniorsupervisoryrolewithinashoporfleetmaintenanceenvironment.
• Demonstratedexperienceoverseeingteams,managing workflow,andaligningshopoperationswithbusinesspriorities.
• Deepknowledgeofheavyequipmentsystems,diagnostics,andrepairtechniques.
• Proficientinusingdiagnosticandshopmanagementsoftware.
• Experiencemanagingmaintenanceschedules,parts procurement,andvendorrelationships.
• Strongleadershipcapabilitieswithaprovenabilitytomanagebudgets,labor planning,inventory controls,andperformancemetrics.
• Trackrecordofmentoringteams,leadingthroughchange,anddrivingcontinuousimprovement.
• Excellentcommunicationskills,withtheabilitytocollaborateeffectivelyacrossdepartmentsincludingoperations,safety,procurement,and finance.
