Shipping & Receiving

Spherion is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Warehouse Shipping and Receiving Associate to join a busy distribution environment. This role handles shipping, receiving, inventory control, and replenishment. Candidates must be comfortable working with computer-based inventory systems, maintaining punctuality, and adhering strictly to federal compliance and safety standards.

• Load and unload incoming and outgoing freight safely and efficiently.
• Perform inventory cycle counts, replenishment, and put-away tasks.
• Process shipments using warehouse management software and third-party shipping platforms.
• Inspect inbound packages for accuracy, damage, and compliance with documentation.
• Safely lift and stage items weighing up to 50 lbs regularly, and up to 75 lbs occasionally.
• Maintain strict compliance with facility safety regulations and regulatory guidelines (including firearms industry compliance).
• Keep the workspace organized, clean, and free of safety hazards.

Working hours:

8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

• Prior experience in warehouse shipping and receiving operations.
• Hands-on experience operating a forklift (especially for receiving duties).
• Experience using Net Suite WMS or similar warehouse management systems.
• Experience utilizing Ship Rush or equivalent third-party multi-carrier shipping applications.

• High School

• 1-4 years

• Must comply to ITAR and federal regulatory compliance requirements.
• High School Diploma or GED (equivalent practical experience may be considered).
• Reliable personal transportation to and from the worksite.
• Proven history of excellent attendance, punctuality, and professional workplace conduct.
• Functional computer literacy and comfort navigating software interfaces.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check (strict adherence to clean record requirements; evaluated on a case-by-case basis) and a 10-panel drug screen (including negative for marijuana).
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly (and up to 75 lbs occasionally) throughout an 8-hour shift.
