As a DSP, you will play a vital role in assisting with daily living tasks, promoting safety and wellness, and building positive relationships with the individuals you support.

🧼 Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, hygiene, and dressing

🛒 Support with shopping, menu planning, and meal prep

🚌 Transport members to appointments, recreational events, and community outings

🧠 Provide supportive counseling and life skills coaching

📋 Maintain clean, organized living environments and help with health/safety routines (fire drills, etc.)

🗣 Communicate effectively with families, team members, and supervisors

📝 Complete required documentation and ensure compliance with regulations

🎉 Participate in social activities and community integration

🧾 Attend mandatory training sessions and staff meetings

✅ Perform other related duties as assigned

🎓 High School Diploma or GED (required)

🚗 Valid driver's license and reliable car for work use

💬 Strong communication skills (verbal and written)

📚 Willingness to attend mandatory paid orientation and ongoing training outside of scheduled shifts

🙌 Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus
