Trust & Estates Associate

Base pay range: $120,000 – $150,000 per year.

An established law firm based in New Jersey is seeking a Trust & Estates Associate with 2-5 years of experience to join their Northern New Jersey team. The practice group is collegial and offers mentoring to help you develop your own practice.

• Draft basic documents, including wills, revocable trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare documents.
• Draft sophisticated irrevocable trusts such as SLATS, ILITs, and GRATs.
• Administer estates and related matters.
• Assist with trust and estate litigation as needed.
• Develop and maintain a book of business (plus).

• 2–5 years of experience as a trust & estates associate or equivalent.
• Strong drafting skills in trust, estate, and related documents.
• Knowledge of estate administration.
• Ability to handle both basic and complex trust structures.
• Experience in litigation is a plus.
