Job Responsibilities

• Delivering high-quality lectures and workshops on various business subjects, ensuring students gain a comprehensive understanding of key concepts.
• Designing course syllabi, lesson plans, assignments, and assessments that align with program goals and industry standards.
• Encourage the development of diverse and effective approaches to course delivery and ensure that teaching delivery achieves the educational standards of the department.
• Provide tutoring and academic counselling to students, maintain class records and evaluate student coursework and progress.
• Bringing innovation to the classroom by incorporating new teaching methods, technologies, and pedagogical approaches to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
• To contribute to the development and continual improvement of courses, coordinating effectively with both staff and students.
• Establishing and maintaining connections with business professionals and organizations to facilitate guest lectures, industry projects, internships, and networking opportunities for students.
• Teach at undergraduate and graduate levels, initiate research and case studies in the field of interest and may publish findings in trade journals or textbooks.
• Evaluating student performance through assessments, assignments, and exams, and providing constructive feedback to support their learning journey.

• In-depth knowledge of, and national or international recognition in, specialist subjects and professional areas.
• An in-depth understanding of pedagogy/research/enterprise and scholarly activity.
• Ability to oversee the design and development of the overall curricula.
• Assess the efficiency of teaching and learning methodologies, evaluation techniques, and course presentation, and implement enhancements as necessary.
• Ability to lead the development of teams to ensure collegiate and productive interdisciplinary working relationships.
• Ability to act as an ambassador in promoting and marketing the subject area, school and institution.

• A doctoral-level qualification in an area of academic relevance to the work of the Department. (OR)
• An MBA Degree in Business, or professional Business qualification.
• Relevant professional experience.
• Knowledge and experience of current teaching and learning strategies.
