Responsibilities
- Delivering high-quality teaching, seminars, and workshops for postgraduate students in Education and/or Educational Leadership.
- Supervising dissertations, research projects, and providing academic advising to postgraduate students.
- Incorporating contemporary issues in education (e.g., inclusion, diversity, equity, sustainability, policy, and innovation) into teaching practice.
- Exploring and embedding perspectives on the future of education in an AI-driven and digitally transformative world.
- Collaborating with programme leadership in curriculum design, development, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Engaging in scholarly activities, professional development, and contributing to the intellectual life of the programme.
- Providing mentorship to learners, fostering critical thinking, reflective practice, and leadership competencies.
- Strong academic background with demonstrated expertise in Education and/or Educational Leadership.
- In-depth understanding of contemporary issues in education, including global trends, inclusion, equity, and leadership practices.
- Familiarity with AI, digital transformation, and emerging technologies shaping the future of education.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise postgraduate research/dissertations and guide academic inquiry.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and mentoring skills to support diverse learners.
- Ability to integrate theory with practice for professional learners in a postgraduate context.
- Proven record of publications in peer-reviewed journals or professional contributions to the field of education.
- Capacity to work collaboratively within a multicultural academic environment, promoting innovation and learner engagement.
- A minimum Master’s degree in Education (M.Ed., MA Education, or equivalent).
- A doctoral-level qualification in Education (PhD or Ed.D., completed or in final stages).
- Demonstrated teaching experience at postgraduate level.
- Strong professional background in the K–12 education sector, with experience in leadership, policy, or administration.
- Evidence of international exposure in educational leadership and innovation.
