Overview
The Advanced Sensors and Techniques Group (Group 92) conducts research in RF and electro-optical sensors and resilient space systems for space domain awareness. The Lincoln Space Surveillance Complex (LSSC) in Westford, MA operates on behalf of the US Space Force Space Operations Command (SpOC) and provides space domain awareness using high-sensitivity radar systems to obtain high-resolution imagery and metric observations of spaceborne targets and activities.
LSSC is upgrading transmitter, receiver, and electronic systems and seeks engineers to join the team. The team emphasizes collaborative research across RF systems integration, adaptive sensor array processing, embedded systems programming, real-time software techniques, signal detection and estimation, and microwave communications. ResponsibilitiesLincoln Space Surveillance Complex (LSSC) is seeking engineers with research interest in RF/microwave receiver hardware and/or radar transmitter systems to support the design, fabrication, integration, test, and analyses of advanced radar systems at the Westford, MA field site. Responsibilities include design, fabrication, integration, testing, and analysis of radar systems and related hardware in RF/microwave domains.
Qualifications- MS in Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or a related field. In lieu of an MS, a BS in the above areas with 3 years of related experience will be considered.
- Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance from the US Department of Defense.
- Good organizational skills with the ability to complete assignments while working independently and/or in a team environment.
- Effective technical communication, including the ability to describe research interests and accomplishments.
