Adjunct Faculty – Business Analytics

Responsibilities

• Deliver and assess lectures and labs in business analytics, predictive analytics, decision support systems, and statistical modelling.
• Teach optimisation methods and machine learning applications for business contexts.
• Integrate case studies and real‑world datasets from finance, marketing, supply chain, and HR analytics.
• Provide training in data visualisation and BI tools including Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, SAP BI, and D3.js.
• Contribute to curriculum development by incorporating emerging trends such as AI in business, big data analytics, cloud‑based analytics, and prescriptive analytics.
• Supervise postgraduate dissertations and research projects in applied business analytics areas (customer behaviour modelling, sentiment analysis, financial risk, supply chain optimisation, forecasting).
• Mentor students in analytical tools and languages such as Python, R, SAS, SQL, SPSS, and Excel VBA.

• Strong proficiency in analytics tools, programming languages, and business intelligence platforms.
• Ability to integrate industry datasets and case studies into teaching.
• Excellent mentoring and problem‑solving abilities with strong communication skills.
• Capacity to align research projects with real‑world business challenges.

• Master’s or PhD in Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Academic or industry background in business intelligence, data analytics, or decision sciences.
• Prior teaching or training experience at university or professional level preferred.
