Part-Time Urgent Care Veterinarian – Urgent Vet

Urgent Vet bridges the gap between daytime general practice and emergency/overnight care in the Boston, Massachusetts area. We offer after‑hours care for canine and feline patients without the additional expense of emergency clinic fees. Each of our single‑doctor shifts provides care for common urgent cases, including wound management, ear infections, vomiting/diarrhea, and euthanasia. All clinics are equipped with cloud‑based EMR, digital X‑ray, and full IDEXX in‑house lab equipment.

• Serve patients and clients with a relationship‑based approach.
• Collaborate and engage with the clinical team and leadership.
• Grow relationships within the practice and the Boston community.
• Encourage the growth of support staff members through our internal Level Up training program.
• Manage a varying caseload, including surgeries and appointments during our open hours.

• DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA accredited college (or successful completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program).
• Active license in good standing to practice in the state in which the candidate will be employed (or the ability to obtain a license in that state).
