• provide compassionate care to patients and their families.
• maintain detailed and compliant medical records.
• conduct basic examinations to assess stability.
• perform advanced nursing skills, including cpr, phlebotomy, cystocentesis, lab tests, and cri calculation and administration.
• administer and monitor sedated patients for minor procedures as well as practice advanced anesthetic skills.
• perform patient discharges.
• prepare treatment estimates and discuss financial commitments with clients.
• prepare and maintain exam rooms and treatment areas.

• associate's degree or equivalent preferred.
• certified or licensed veterinary technician in massachusetts or eligible for transfer (highly preferred).
• prior experience with anesthesia required.
• prior specialty and emergency experience required.
• must be a team player and have compassion for pets and their people.
