Company Overview

Clover Food Lab is a fast‑casual restaurant group dedicated to making vegetables irresistible so millions are inspired to reduce meat consumption, reversing global warming. We operate 11 restaurants in the Boston area, a commissary kitchen in Cambridge, and a local meal‑box delivery program, sourcing all ingredients from local farms and preparing them with fine‑dining techniques without the use of freezers or microwaves.

Position Overview

We’re currently hiring a General Manager for our Sudbury, MA and Westford, MA restaurant kiosks within Whole Foods. This full‑time role reports to the Director of Restaurant Operations and requires reliable transportation with equal travel between Sudbury (536 Boston Post Rd, MA 01776) and Westford (160 Littleton Rd, MA 01886).

Compensation

Base pay: $60,000.00–$65,000.00 per year, depending on experience, with quarterly bonus based on sales growth, labor budget, and other key performance indicators.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of up to 10 Clover employees, recruiting, training, and developing staff for outstanding service.
  • Manage food costs and operational efficiencies aggressively.
  • Execute all food and labor cost controls and administrative duties.
  • Promote menu items to increase store sales and customer base.
  • Monitor operations and enforce corrective actions as needed.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure the best tasting food is served to guests.
  • Participate in General Manager training classes and weekly manager meetings.
  • Perform day‑to‑day restaurant duties to support the team.
Qualifications
  • 3–5 years of experience working in restaurants.
  • Demonstrated experience managing teams.
  • Serv Safe, Allergen Awareness, and Chokesaver certifications.
  • Strong financial management and ability to motivate and lead others.
  • Experience developing robust culinary teams.
  • Passion for food, positive attitude, and commitment to high standards.
  • Physical ability to stand for prolonged periods, walk, bend, stretch, and lift up to 50 lbs (with or without reasonable accommodation).
