Full‑Time, Exempt, Category 2 (12‑month position), On‑Site Position.
Salary Range: $80,000‑$110,000 (plus incentive compensation plan).
Reports to:
Acting Head of Advancement.
The Gifts Officer assists the school in achieving its fundraising goals with the objective of increasing both constituent participation and total giving each year. The position will move a portfolio of assigned parents through the Donor Cycle in order to secure major gifts each year. The Gifts Officer will have a budget amount that is expected to be achieved plus pledges for future years.

Desired but not required: five to ten years of directly applicable fundraising experience (independent school fundraising experience is preferred).
Job Responsibilities- Assist with cultivating and maintaining donors as assigned. Each of these assigned donors will have individual success targets.
- Achieve collection of budgeted donations and pledges.
- Utilize Raiser's Edge to create individualized stewardship plans.
- Execute cultivation strategy for new incoming parents.
- Organize donor and fundraising events and drive participation.
- Prepare monthly report of all relationship management activities and donations that were achieved by this position (including performance metrics).
- Project future donations during each quarter and associate with the Development calendar.
- Maintain a portfolio of donors you are cultivating and set regular meetings.
- Attend campus events as assigned to represent the Advancement Department.
- Enter all donor communications into Raiser's Edge within 24 hours of occurrence.
- Assist the Director of Alumni and Family Relations with alumni solicitations.
- Assist donors with any appropriate support requests.
- Assist the Admission office with stewardship of new families as they go through the admissions process.
- Recruit new families to come to OCS.
- Liaison with local companies and businesses to coordinate their support of OCS.
